SYNOPSIS
The story follows Samaresh, his wife Krishna, and their daughter Tatan as they return to their home in Bengal for the Durga Puja celebrations. Upon arrival, Samaresh discovers that his mother has passed away and the house has been run by his elder brother and aunt. Samaresh takes a trip down memory lane, exploring his old home and confronting the lingering presence of his past, including memories of an old love, Mumtaz. His brother’s difficult nature also makes the stay challenging for the family. The film is noted for celebrating Bengali culture and the ethos of homecoming, particularly during the festive season of Durga Puja.
